Emma Sainte
Emma Sainte (she/her) is a multidisciplinary artist based in Victoria, British Columbia (Lekwungen Territory). Emma has a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Music Studies (Berklee College of Music) and a Performing Arts Diploma (Canadian College of Performing Arts). She has extensive training & experience in the performing arts, predominantly in voice.
Emma Sainte releases music & performs live as an independent singer-songwriter. Her music is available on Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes, YouTube, & more. Emma Sainte’s music is a union of her gifts as a powerful vocalist & expressive writer. Her love of storytelling & whimsy comes through in her projects. Having explored many creative outlets, she released her debut single at 19. Her original songs are often infused with a hybrid of genres, including pop, alternative, & musical theatre. Emma Sainte has released eleven singles & one EP so far. Her most recent single, “POISON”, came out in May 2025.
To combine her love of musical theatre and writing, Emma Sainte writes musicals. Emma produced, co-created, & performed in an original musical, Elemental: An Original Musical, which premiered in the Victoria Fringe Festival in 2021. She also created a musical, A Siren’s Song, which she wrote, composed, & directed; the musical was performed in the TD Festival of New Works in 2021. Emma’s play, To Wish Upon, was read as part of Hapax Reads in 2023.
Emma Sainte always has numerous creative projects on the go. She plays the violin & autoharp, & enjoys various forms of visual art.
